Does anyone have any history or knowledge of this event? We purchased minerals in Wyoming in late 2019 and had to sue the broker to convey the deeds. The settlement agreement has a line item listed as “Haley Stip Judgment” that conveys some amount of revenues but there are no details to what this is about. EOG Resources is the operator of record.
Best thing to do is contact the Division Order Department for EOG and ask about what it means. It can take weeks to get a reply. It may have to do with mineral rights inherited but without a will, so a formal agreement assigned the rights. You need to ask for a copy of the stipulation agreement and what is assigned for the royalties that come to you.
