It works better on the forum if you post your question in the state and county where your minerals are located. Geology varies across the county, so give the block, abstract name and number and the section. At this point your question is too vague to get a useful answer. Are you asking about active wells, leasing, permits or what?

Had there been a significant amount of new drilling in Gregg County?
Your question is still vague, so can only give a general answer. There are 23 permits for the county. Most of the horizontals are in the NE corner. A couple are over in the WNW side with some vertical permits (mostly recompletes) scattered about.
