my mother has an active lease in Grady county Sections: 3-8N-7W. She is being contacted by a few oil companies. I have several questions related to approved OCC horizontal drilling and her existing lease. Should I just hire an OK oil & gas attorney?

It depends upon what the questions are. If she is getting offers to buy, it is because there is a new permit to drill by Continental that was just filed a few weeks ago.
Is she already getting paid on the Elmer horizontal well?
