Does any one know what is going on in Sec. 4-8N 6W in Grady county .

Good news. Continental Resources, a very knowledgable operator (Not to be confused with Continental Land Resources, a land company) has permitted some horizontal wells to some of the deeper Anadarko Basin locations 1.5 to 3 miles SSW of your Section. Permits are dated late 2013 so it looks promising. Be aware that as a surface owner, you have an advantage of working directly with an Operator to maximize your opportunities so get your ownership documents in order and be ready. With Horizontal drilling and large spacing, the next lease you sign may be the last.
