Have a lease offer in Grady County, 24 8 8, for 1200/acre, 3/16,, from Mid continent. Wondered if other offers were out there? Thanks for any response.

If you took the Terrell deal or Turner deal you now have an idea of the profit they made on your lease. Mid Continent is getting close to what may come out of a force pooling order. You may want to wait for that but know what you want to do as you may not have much time.

There is nothing wrong with using the regulations to your benefit. The operator's do, so its only fair for you to use the law as well. You can bet that the lessee's will take advantage if the regs.

I was offered the Turner deal and turned it down. I appreciate your reply, however, you are talking to a novice participant. I wish you would elaborate as to regulations and how I can use them to my benefit myself and what happens if it comes to a forced pool order?
