Bridgepoint Mineral Acquisition is asking to buy our mineral interest in Grady Co. for $4,000 per acre. 24-7N-5W N2/SW;SW SORRY, IS THIS A GOOD PRICE?
Georgia, I think your best bet would be to post this in the Grady county group. Look where it says groups near the top of the page. Georgia, it doesn't sound like a bad offer but I believe I have heard of offers upwards of $5,000 but those may be for acres already producing. Georgia, just slow down and allow those with minerals close to yours to reply. These offers don't usually evaporate overnight no matter what the landman says. They are good at not buying minerals unless they are going to make a profit from them. In my experience with Bridgepoint they are usually mass mailing low bidder and they top (offer more) their own offers when I do not reply.
Red River Holdings just offered us$3500/acre for Grady section 33, 4N, 5W
Has your section of been force-pooled? Who is the driller/developer of that section?
I must say the higher the offer to buy, the more likely there is production potential. Don't sell.

They were just saying the same thing (don't sell) about 19N-3W Logan County a few months ago with offers of $4000 per mineral acre with talks of wells making many 100's of barrels of oil per day and rigs moving in by the dozen, a major boom with minerals worth 10's of thousands of dollars per mineral acre, now they are not offering anything (comparatively), not even an offer to lease. It can go either way.
