Anything happening drilling wise, in Goliad County
Short answer is, not much. The Railroad Commission shows three permit applications filed so far this year, all by Welder Exploration for vertical wells ranging from 2000 to 5500’ in the Mullican Survey 5 miles east of Pettus.
Only five new permits were filed in 2021, three being recompletions of old wells. All were for vertical wells except one existing vertical being sidetracked to add a horizontal leg. It was shown in the Musquiz survey 9 miles SE of Runge.
