I have been offered a lease for mineral rights from gas/oil company. Per acre rate being offered is much less than I have seen in neighboring states. Plus I have a question regarding adjoining land owners’ leases and how they might affect my offer. Land owners on both sides of my property have leased to same company and I am wondering how this affects the gas/oil on my property if they decide to drill on both sides. Any information or website suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.
