A seismic crew is supposed to start geo-mapping our property next month. Does anyone know if this means that drilling could be coming soon, or is this just typical oil company operation procedures? Thanks

12 18N 3E I spoke with the occ and American energy is doing a survey over 5 townships in our area and the permit to do so has been approved. We should be seeing some activity soon.

We were mapped early July 2013 & they drilled end of August 2013.
I hope that is the intent in this case. Our 3-year lease ends this August.
