Any idea why Continental would start paying the last couple months a very small decimal interest to me on this well drilled in 2015 if I own minerals in Section 12 3S 4W adjacent? On the map the well is close to the line between 11 and 12. I can’t think of any interest i might have in 11. Thanks!
There are numerous parties named Gentry that appear to own interests in both Section 11 & 12-3S-4W. My guess is you own something that you did not know that you owned by way of inheritance.
Thanks Todd, I would have guessed that some legal notification would have been sent if an estate was being settled. The last time that happened I had to notify Continental for them to start paying. Joe
Most likely, however you came to own in Section 12 is the same way you are shown as owning in Section 11. Just guessing as I haven’t reviewed the title.
Ask Continental’s Division Order department. They have the documentation.
