General Question regarding Chevron

I have emailed Chevron twice, and send them a package via certified mail, return receipt requested (19 pages of ID, Well info etc). I never got a return receipt, but I followed up with the post office, and was told that they received the package on June 25th.

Here is my question/concern. I have never received anything from Chevron. Not even a text, email, or letter that they have received anything that I have sent them over the past 50+ days. Is this normal? I would assume they (Chevron) would at least inform me that they have received something from me. NODDA! I feel lost at this point, like I don’t exist. Not even a “Thanks, we got your request and will contact you soon” or something like that.

Does anyone have any advice? Should I drive to Houston and walk into their building and talk to them in person? What do I have to do to get noticed. I am trying to establish ownership of mineral rights from an inheritance. I know it existy because I have people offering to buy it. I have NO IDEA what I am due.

It is normal, but frustrating. Chevron has hundreds of thousands of mineral owners, so getting ownership cleaned up can take three to six months.

Sir, most likely they will not allow you to go past a certain point. It’s a security issue.

Hello, we have the same problem. We sent Chevron’s land admin an email back in early October; they forwarded us to their Ownership Team in Pecos County. We promptly received emails and next steps instructions from that team. We submitted everything they asked, except our direct deposit banking information, then all communication stopped in January. On June 10th I emailed PDC Energy Relations, and they told me all they can do is send a follow up internal email to Chevron Land Ownership for status.
