Recently inherited these tracts from my Mother (who inherited these from her grandfather). Am interested in following any gas production output. Would love to know the physical location of these tracts. All we have are a couple of stubs from a check and I think there is a legal description on the stub. This is all new to me. We are told that when the total sum is over $100 … then they cut you a check and send it out. Thanks for any help !! WEHLU Tracts 421, 422, 436, 437 in OK County
This is a waterflood unit. West Edmond Hunton Lime Unit If you want to search through massive documents, type West Edmond Hunto Lime into this link. (even though it says Error)
Your tracts are in : 421 NW4 SW4 30-14N-4W,
422 NE4 SW4 30-14N-4W.
436 SW4 SW4 30-14N-4W
437 SE4 SW4 30-14N-4W
The original Spivey wells.
The field is very old. The original wells were added into a giant waterflood, so the decimals are the recalcuation of the percentage of that acreage involved in the whole field. You get paid on the rolled up production of every well in the field.
Here is a map. Your tracts are near the upper third. (Just NW of NW 150th Street and the Gailandia Country Club just off of the John Kilpatrick Turnpike West of Edmond and north of OKC).
Your check will give your portion of the entire field. They probably list it by Tract number. Your particular old oil (no gas) wells from the 1940’s to 50’s were plugged and abandoned a long time ago, but you benefit from all of the other wells in the waterflood.
