Dana, all of these are articles from the last year or two and there were many more. I believe Michael Hutchinson (Hutch) on this forum said he was responsible for writing the “Grady” on this map. (My guess is when he sent it to someone in Grady Co.) The yellow dots are the locations that Continental has leased now as they were the one that put the map out.

Michael and or Rick If you can look at book 1472 page 170 for Dana . What does it say ?

Yes but I don’t understand the wording when they talk about the tracts. I guess the tracts is all I need to know. I also found a lease in 4-1n-3w.

There’s a well in the Scoop named the “Dana” but I guess that’s in Grady Co., isn’t it?

Dana 1-29H 7N/6W Grady

7-2N-2W and 18-2N-2W

That the tracts she shows to have an interest in.

So, it looks to me that the Northeast Springer Purdy is in the Scoop area. Am I correct? If so does this mean there may be more drilling? My areas are in 4 North 4 West sections 19, 33, 35. Tom

Tom, so far not much in 4N/4W but to your south in 3N and 2N a lot of drilling and some very good wells. Also some good activity in 3N/5W, so yours is pretty close to the action.

Tom…4n,4w is where we live and there’s been lots of drilling going on within eyeshot of the house especially at night. I guess more of it is in Grady Co. behind us. I’m not too crazy about our roads turning to mush like some of the roads in 2n,4w in Stephens but I figure if you took a vote most of the people down there would vote against that to. What is affectionately called the “Garvin Co. Paint Road” one mile south of us has already had it’s share of heavy truck and rig travel too. Guess that’s progress for ya!

Hi Guys, sorry I haven’t been back on. Summer craziness with the kiddos. I will review all of this information and try and make some sense out of it and get back to ya! Thanks! Dana

Rhonda,

It is the Floyd 1-8. Operator is Triad. I have not seen a completion report or production on it yet. API number is 3504924921. Something should be posted soon.

Thank you so much Rick, appreciate ya! ;0)

Section 8 2n 3w Garvin County…does anyone know what well is in this area? How well is it producing? I can’t seem to pull it up online.

I’ve been having issues at the OCCCG site. It shows three wells in 8 2N 3W but it won’t pull anything up for details. Has something changed on the site? I have mineral rights in that section and I’m quite curious.

Rhonda, I use this search page and everything comes up as usual:

http://www.occpermit.com/WellBrowse/Home.aspx

If you are using the “New Well Browse Database” there are three entries.

There are 2 with API number I gave you below so 1 is a duplicate. The third is API 3504935874 which is plugged/abandoned. (plugged in 1967)

Try hitting the shift or alt key when clicking the magnifying glass.

If you are looking for new cases in process you have to go through the Case Processing Database found in the menu of the main page:

You guys are awesome, thank you so much. I don’t know why I was having such a hard time accessing these results. I want to say I feel so fortunate to have ran across this site. Learning more everyday and I’ve been a mineral and surface owner since I was a child. Unfortunately, I have elders that weren’t quick to share information with the lot of us. I’ve found I have to educate myself to know the truth in order to protect mine and my brother’s rights, etc.
