Hello all, I had leased to Newfield about 6 months ago section 19, 4N 4W. I have not seen any where that there is activity there. Anybody know anything? Merit holds the lease on my interests in sections 33 and 35 in 4N 4W. It is in the springer hart and some in the Purdy I believe. I read where some are talking about Merit maybe doing horizontal drilling in the springer area. Hopefully someone knows, I could use some fatter checks. Thanks, Tom

In the last few days I have had two different companies sending me an offer to buy my Garvin county mineral interest, one offer was for my section 19 4N 4W in particular. This sounds like things May heating up in my area. Tom
I also received the same notice from Marathon Oil that Joe Gene mentioned below. There were also two OCC Cause CD’s that were issued by Newfield for the Section 32-T3N-R3W.

Anyone know why the pooling hearing has been delayed or when it was moved to? I have been trolling the dockets and must have missed it. Was supposed to have been 9/15/14.
If anyone leased with Echo or Freedom, did you have any trouble getting your check out of them? Pondering an offer, but don’t like drafts on companies I haven’t dealt with before.
Martha, I have seen no reason for the continuances . I leased in that section with Freedom, no problems at all with clauses or payment. Paid by check in less than 2 weeks.

Hey, Karla. I don’t know the answer to your question, but how did you learn they were going to drill in 17 2/3 around the end of Nov? I saw several weeks ago where you posted that. Did someone from NFX tell you that?
They have all the case processing orders but so far no permit.
Just depends on their priorities, rig availability etc. Sometimes they are drilling same day they get the permit.
I don’t have a clue on that Karla.

I have a dumb question. Would they still be able to drill for springer in the springer Purdy unit? Or did they already get it all?
I have not. This place is getting very quiet of late and if I don’t read it here, I don’t know it. lol. I read the OCC docket but I haven’t read anything regarding sec 17 in quite a while. That’s why I was surprised when you said they were going to drill in Nov.
