Funds in suspense - operator not replying to my emails

I have been trying to connect with TGNR regarding some funds in suspense. When I send an email I get an automated response with an ID assigned to it and acknowledging receipt of my request. No answers to my emails. I started caller customer care and due to the language barrier it is difficult to have a conversation. Each time I call I am told that the person assigned to my case will reply to my email by COB. It has been almost 2 weeks and after repeated emails and phone calls they always say the same thing but I never get a reply email or phone call. What can I do?

Uh oh. Better call oil and gas division

Have you tried sending a certified letter return receipt to their division order department? Ask for the reasons that you are in suspense and what do you need to do to clear up the issue. It can take 60-90 days to resolve issues. The DO folks are dealing with hundreds to thousands of requests. In your letter, state your issue, give your name, address, email, phone number, description of acreage or well that you are asking about, the ID that you were assigned, ask if they need a W-9, etc. It requires patience.

@M_Barnes provides solid advice. I will generally grant a 60-90 day response period to many companies before I follow-up. Several calls in two weeks will not move you up in the Q. In the new OR models, the person taking calls can rarely solve your problem. Employ patient and employ diligence.

In general, the state oil and gas divisions do not help with operator payment issues. That is between the mineral owner and the operator.
