The land is the Fractional North Half of the Northeast Quarter of Section 2, Township 20 South, Range 17 East, M.D.B. & M in the unincorporated area of the County of Fresno, California.

The property appears to be in the Huron area of Fresno County. I have seen a few new leases in this area a while back but it is not a historical area for oil. If you are looking to lease your minerals you may wish to contact a local landman and see if they are working with any oil companies to obtain leases in that area. Vintage (a subsidiary of Oxy) and Aera (a limited liability company owned by Shell and Exxon-Mobil) continue to take leases and may be interested.
