Anybody have knowledge about this leasing group that can be shared with the forum?
Fredonia began leasing in Freestone County in September 2023. Since that time, they have recorded about 330 leases covering about 10,500 gross acres in 12 surveys. Their most recent lease filings occurred on May 14. No assignment documents have been filed.
Fredonia began writing leases in Leon County in September 2025. Since that time, they have recorded 86 leases covering about 2,800 gross acres in 19 surveys. Their most recent filings were on May 21. No assignment documents have been filed.

My assumption has been that they are leasing for Comstock, but it seems odd that there have been no assignments to date. Not sure why they would delay assignment if it was for Comstock.
