I was told that the Fred development should start production by the end of August. That I should be on the lookout for the division orders. Do you know how long it would be before I see any type of royalty payments?
A general rule of thumb is a year from spud to bank. It there are quite a few horizontal wells drilled at the same time, then it can be a bit longer. It usually takes a four-five months after first sales to do the Division Order title opinion. For longer multi-section wells, it takes longer since there are more owners.
