Forced Pooling Section 12-18N-16W Dewey CO Question

All, Does anyone know who filed a Forced Pooling Order that included Section 12-18N-16W NW Quarter (8W/4 NW/4) in Dewey county on the 24th of Feb 2020? My family has these rights and Section 16-21N-20W in Woodward Co and did not receive any notification of a Pooling Case. Rights are from Earnie Franklin Ainsworth Estate. Many Thanks, Mark Jorden (727) 249-9632

Unit Petroleum filed on 1/7/20. The order was issued on Feb 25, 2020 UNIT PETROLEUM COMPANY P.O. BOX 702500 TULSA, OKLAHOMA 74170 Contact Name: GRAYSON BARNES Contact Phone: 918-382-8686

That name is on the respondents list but with no address. Contact the attorney quickly as you only have 20 days in which to answer. The case is 202000021 and the order is 709134 and 709131. Horizontal well to be drilled.

Make sure the title information is filed in the county courthouses where minerals are owned or they cannot find you.

The Woodward County acreage does not have activity.

Ms. Barnes,

Thank you so much for the assistance. I cannot thank you enough.

Sincerely, Mark

Many of us would pick the highest royalty and the lowest bonus since over time, the higher royalty pays off on not only the first well but any more that follow. Send your choice by certified mail return receipt and keep a copy of everything that you send. Many folks also send a copy to the OCC to be entered into the record. They may require title info to pay you.

It is very probable that a probate case will be needed if minerals are produced. If there is not an executor of the estate it is possible that the company would might not honor the election under the pooling order since nobody can legally make it. If that is the case, the estate will be subject to the lowest royalty with the highest bonus.
