Force Pooling vs Leasing before Development?

OK, so we have some minerals in Richland County, Montana that we have been leasing for the last 10 years or so, and the current lease has expired since last summer. There were some permits pulled on our acreage before the oil crash in late '15 early '16. My question is, if we do not lease at this time, and a producing well(s) are drilled on our holdings, would we likely get better lease terms at that time vs leasing now, or does it really make a difference?
