Finding legal advice

I seem to be on here a lot lately. Forgive me for being so totally oblivious when it comes to the legalities and fine tunings of mineral rights contracts and dealings. Everyone on this site has been so gracious and helpful. i know a lot more than I did but not enough! If I wanted to get a professional to take a look at the contracts that are beng offered up, where would I look? I am out of state and our holdings are so small, we can’t afford to pay much. I am 85 and the old brain still works but I have to admit to nodding off while reading some particularly dry wordy documents! As alwaysm your wisdom is much appreciated!!

Susan

You should provide the State where the minerals are located and you will need an attorney licensed there.

This post is not legal, tax or investment advice. Reading or responding to this post does not create an attorney/client relationship.

Thank you! Our mineral rights are located in Caddo County, Oklahoma.

Susan, @Richard_Winblad can be a great resource for many of your legal requirements. I can also suggest local counsel in Anadarko to help you on specific title research issues.
