Finding a Landman

Is there a website out there to find a Landman in a specific area of the country?

Thanks.

You might try here: http://www.landman.org/

Is a great resource to post when seeking landmen across the United States.

The other option is to call local brokerage houses and price shop dayrates. Depending on the extent of your needs this may not be the most cost effective resource as individual landmen may charge less per day.

As many of the users on this site may be familiar with and have had prior dealings with various landmen across that country, I humbly suggest that you simply post in the relevant area group on this site asking for recommendations for a landman in that area.

Kevin, what part of the country do you need one for?

Hi Kevin -

I am a member of the American Association of Professional Landmen (AAPL). Their website is the www.landman.org one that Kirch suggested. They are located here in Fort Worth, Texas.

If they are not able to provide you with a listing of their members in a given area of the country (they may not be allowed to recommend any member over another), I will be happy to send you the page(s) out of our Membership Directory for your area.

Hope this helps -
