Hi, An operator in Borden County, Texas says we need to record the divorce decree, probate documents, and various conveyances in the county so they can get us in pay status. How does one go about this? Is a lawyer needed?
I had a lawyer prepare them as part of probate from a passed away relative. I filed them. Search online because there are templates available you can use.
If all of these are already filed of record, then no you shouldn’t need a lawyer. If they aren’t, then yes you most definitely will need a lawyer.
Get them to give you a copy of all the documents they need and then you can begin.
