If I am being a realist, if Reimars and Monster are indeed as bad as reported, I don’t see any way Redhawk or anyone else proceeds drilling to the Northeast. I think there is an off chance EOG is tight holing everyone, but with each passing month I think that possibility decreases substantially.
Pessimistically, I think this was kind of the last hoorah for someone to prove up this area as an Eagle Ford/Chalk extension, so I have accepted the fact a well will likely never be drilled on our place.
Go to the RRC site and click on any permitted well in Lavaca county to pull up the map…by clicking on the API #. Then X out the white box with the info so only map shows. Then go to upper left and click on Visibility, then go down to the second set of Highlights and put a check mark in from of pipelines…this will show all pipelines on the map in green.
You will see the the Francis pad was almost put on top of the Copano pipeline. This is where all the gas from the production plant will come back to. that is why you see multiple pipes…one set is going from each of the wells pads to the gas prod unit, and then one big green pipe is going from plant back towards Francis pad to connect with Copano gas line.
I was also told each pad will have storage tanks where trucks will pick up water and oil….this was several months ago, so not sure if that has changed but I do not see any oil pipelines anywhere close.
Has anyone heard of anything different ??? Just not a lot, if any, info going out these days…
Rep from eog said that they want to pick up in one location and not have trucks running all of the county roads.. I see they are laying two more of the black pipelines after 2 were already out in at FM 340.
Would they still need to pickup the water ? Would be nice to not have those trucks driving by…..they kick up so much dust. I’ll try to find out about the oil pipeline…maybe they don’t need the pads as large as they are now….some pad site surface owners could get some land back….
And those 6 stakes are running east/west…they usually run north/south…so will be interesting to see where exactly the wells will be running since where they are marked are in the Bullard unit close to boundary line with new proposed unit…Maddox is about 1000 ft to the east.
They might be doing 1 in each Bullard and Maddox and 2 each in the new units….just a guess not told a thing…
