Are these EOG units going between the Matrix Tank and Zion units?
They are not going in between the Matrix units they are to the east of them.
Depending on what your lease says you could have been notified you were being pooled into a unit, sometimes there are pooling consent provisions.
I am happy to take a look if you want to message me with your property location and lease.
Our lease with KEW runs until the summer of 2027.
About 1 mile east of of the store
Czechfisher: Took some wrangling to post this without requiring a web address but I think this will get it.
So Redhawk is âsupposed toâ drill two more units just south of Reimers (above) and Monster. You can generally figure out the Reimers width so just flip that and see if it gets to you. Good luck.
Czechfisherâ Unfortunately you are not in the unit that will be south of the Reimers unit. However, you will be in the unit that is south of that oneâŚright on the southern edgeâŚ.but if not that one you would be in the one below thatâŚ.
and it all depends on how the Pecan pad units do, and oil/gas pricing. Also Redhawk has been looking at shifting the new units a bitâŚbut you are in the âmiddleâ so you should be good.
Hereâs the count down on the pecan pad. You would think somebody didnât pay there bill all that equipment is getting repossessed. Are they having a two for one sale? Itâs going quick definitely must be finished with the fracking. Those turbines were really singing last night and then this morning it got all quiet.Keep your fingers crossed.
Saw some ânewerâ maps today. Redhawk has the 2 units under Reimers and Monster rock to do⌠then below those will be 2 sets of 4 units that end at the top of Blackshear pad.
The locations of the initial pads will be
Off of CR 229 about 1/4 mile east where CR 229 and CR 226 meet.
Off of CR 240 about 1/4 mile east of where CR 240 and FM 957 meet.
No talk about the outcome or anything to do with Pecan Pad frackâŚ..
but there is talk about getting another rig back in our area againâŚ
They should be done with Maddox +3 pad drilling mid January and then rig goes to CR 194/195 4 unit pad contingent of pad/road completion
So, it shows EOG has 10 units planned not permitted (4 of these however are the 194/195) so once those permitted only 6 left as planned.
redhawk shows 12 units planned not permitted so far.
Goal is to have all units drilled with 1 well each by Dec 2026.
ButâŚthey are both still planning additional unitsâŚRedhawk to the north of Pecan, and then the EF wells to the west. EOG looking south/southwest of Francis pad
Looks like a methodical drilling and development plan - assuming that there not any negative surprises with the production and decline over time.
Economics still key to this any other play of this capital-intensive magnitude.
Oh wow! Thank you so much. If that happens we might just be in the area.
Thank you! Looks like my cousin is in the one you sent me. We shall see what happens.
You have been so helpful! Thank you so much. My property is off 229 and not far from 226. We shall see how all this plays out.
I have just been told that the Pecan farm wells have been fracâd and âcappedâ.
Does anyone know what this term means ? Like I stated in my last post , there has been no discussion of the Frac on Pecan pad wellsâŚand I did not push it. It did seem to me that the frac for 2 wells went extremely quick.
Also I know they do wait between finishing the frac and starting the flowback processâŚso is this term âcappedâ meaning they just plugged it waiting for the flowback process ?
âCappedâ probably means shut in - most likely to allow for hook up to gas line so that produced gas doesnât have to flared (and money burnt up).
May also be part of the process to let the fracâd lateral âsitâ for a bit before flowing it back
Thank you all for the great information on this forum.
Does anyone have a range of estimated potential production rates/volumes (either bbl/ day or cum bbl/month) for the area between the Blackshear and Reimer units?
Also, is the drilling unit outline generally what the final production unit outline becomes? I am not clear if there are differences.
Thanks in advance for your help
With respect to drilling units, they normally end up being the same as production unit outlines as to size / acreage and layout.
Remember that these drilling / production units (DPUâs) are designed for more than a single horizontal wellbore - multiple other laterals can be drilled in the same DPU into either the same or a different target zone.
These drilling pads are designed to handle multiple locations as well as large production facilities.
