My brother an I recently started getting offers for some minerals rights to land we inherited from our father.
36 11N 8W = 14,500 Acre
29-11N-7W = 13,800 Acre
We had a lease agreement with Cimerex or Citizen energy years ago but moved and stopped getting checks…just kinda forgot about it. Do these offers seem reasonable in the current market? Some others in the family with twice the land nearby are only getting 900-1300$ checks a few times a year.
If anyone has insight or advice I’d love to hear it.
