Expand submitted a drilling permit request this morning for an exploratory vertical test well to be located in the JJ Goolsbey A-251 Survey in Freestone County, 15 miles west of Palestine.
The lease covers 1,260 acres, suggesting that a horizontal well will be drilled if the test results are good.
