We have inherited mineral rights in Section 24 of Township 1S, Range 8W in Stephens County, Oklahoma, and I hope to establish if there are royalties for our family. The mineral deed we have is dated 1952 for a 1/4 interest in oil, gas and other minerals.
Can anyone advise me on how to get more information? Thank you.

Hi Frank, according to the OCC online data http://wellbrowse.occ.ok.gov/, there have not ever been any producing wells in that section. Two dry holes were drilled in the 1920’s and one in the 1980’s. With this information it doesn’t appear that there were ever any royalties for this section.
