Existing lease with no production

In Oklahoma

I signed a lease in 2016 for a 3 year term. Since then that lease was assigned through a sale to another company which company is now offering 2.5 times the price per acre. Are there any grounds for a re-negotiation of lease terms? Pooling hearing set for 1/29/2018. Any advice appreciated.

Causes:

201800265 Pooling

201800262 Spacing

201800263 Waiver of Consent Requirements (existing producing wells)

Thanks,

Steven

Unfortunately, you can not negotiate again until that lease is up. If they are pooling it, you are bound by that lease. Whatever the royalty on the lease is what you'll get from any production(proportionately reduced of course to what you own)
