After Epic bought out Anadarko's interests, it has been like pulling teeth to get paid. I was wondering what our rights as mineral owners are to get them to begin paying regularly and correctly.
Our group finally got some payments from them last month (Epic purchased the interests in November). I emailed Epic today and asked what date of the month they would be cutting checks to owners. Here is my answer: "We have no date to cut checks. It depends of receiving revenue from purchasers."
That is just not acceptable and I am wanting to know what our recourse is to get them to pay regularly as do Anadarko, Chevron, Harrison, etc.
Would like to talk to others in this situation.
