Found this on the web this morning. I don’t know if EOG has any interests in the Southern part or if all theirs is in the Northern part of the 2 counties. Don’t know if EOG is strapped for cash or wanting to turn a hefty profit without doing much drilling. Anybody else know or heard anything. http://www.meagheroil.com/resources/project/EOG%20Resources%20Oklahoma/
Richard,
Very interesting. Thanks for posting. I would say they are ‘wanting to turn a hefty profit’.

I am working in Montague County, Texas, where EOG is very active. They have drilled so many wells so fast that they are short on budgeted money for this year. I know of one very active rig that is being let go for now. I do have a small mineral interest in Township 1S 23W so all info is informative.

Clint,
I think you are right. From all I see on 102A’s it is an oily/wet gas find in Jackson County. EOG must be looking for drilling money to increase Permian and Bakken intake.
