25 acres, Northwestern PA. Leased 8/2011. How much money are people netting from natural gas royalties? Any? What about with the decline in price of natural gas?
I can't seem to get a straight answer from anyone with all the "depends on price that day, etc, bla, bla, bla".
Just state what a few of your royalty checks looked like, roughly. I'm well aware of all the variables and am only asking for an approximation. I'm beginning to think this entire thing is some sort of scam - and no one's made any money.

How many acres in the pool and producing how much in mcf, MMcf or MMbtu? At what royalty %? I would flat out tell you but I don't have gas wells, just oil. Even with the things I asked you, someones estimate could be off by as much as 50% if one of you has Chesapeake for an operator and the other doesn't because of treatment and post production charges or selling to an affiliate for half price. You have to input more than just 25 acres at one end of the machine if you expect a finished product (decent answer) to come out the other
