Empire oil ND

recently got offer from Empire Oil- Doug Peak- can anyone give me a clue as to their reputation, seems OK, but everyone needs to be careful dealing with people you don’t know…

Larry:

I have leased to Empire a couple of times, once in 2004 and again in 2008. They were always fair in their dealings and bonus money was paid on time. They are only a broker and your actual minerals will end up with another company. Both times I leased to them, it covered mineral acreages in both Montana and ND.

I signed a lease with Empire in '06. They in turn sold the rights to Oasis which started pumping in '10. I felt that Empire was fair and expeditious. (320 acres in Burke County, ND)

My dealings with Empire have been all positive. Very professional. Don’t know if you are working with the same person but the one I dealt with was excellent.

Larry:

I would not hesitate to deal with them again, if the opportunity arises, but I would continue to shop around with other prospects before signing a new lease.
