OLDER WELLS ARE STARTING TO BE PLUGGED AND ABANDONED. DO OPERATORS REDRILL ON SAME LAND BASED ON PAST SUCCESS? THANKS
My experience has been sometimes the oil company will drill on your federal lease. What operator is holding the federal lease? My experiences have been with Cimarex, Bopco, and Devon to name a few. I've never seen a federal lease question on this forum...nice to know there are people out there that have questions.
Have you looked at the New Mexico Oil Conservation website?
I looked up your properties but need to know the names of the wells you own an interest in as there are many different companies with different well names...I did NOT see any new applications to drill in any of the above property descriptions.
There has been drilling and production since the early 1970's. Chevron USA is the lessee and well name is Lentini Federal. There are starting to plug and abandon and my question is whether or not they will drill more on this land in the future being they're been successful on it.
