Hi, I received leasing interest on property in the eastern portion of the CW formation in Canadian County (Sec36-13N-6W). Lots of action to the west, but haven't heard about any horizontal activity around this part. Leased at 1/4 and $100 for 2 years about 3 years ago (expired). The broker says those days are gone. He upped offer $250 for 3y and 3/16, with 2 2 yr options @$200. My thinking is that we are a long time away from any drilling. Ive checked close around, dont know of anyone else getting offers (maybe HBP). Any comments about this portion of the formation (oil portion), and would just waiting a while to see what develops be a mistake? Any insight greatly appreciated!
