E.A.Wise Survey,A-315, San Augustine County, Texas

I’m trying to find out if anyone knows anything about this or what is going on with this. May 6, 2019, I received in the mail an Oil, Gas and Mineral Lease on behalf of BP America Production Company, covering my interest in the above-captioned land. We had to have it notarized and signed by 5:00 PM on the 25th day of May, 2019. They said after they received my signed lease back to them that they would be mailing me my check for the amount for the bonus consideration within seven to ten business days. And then the terms agreed upon. I mailed it back the same day I got it, signed and notarized and by FedEx. Still, I had to keep waiting and waiting and waiting, and also called a couple of times, left messages, finally got it after over a month of waiting, and there are still some family members who still haven’t got theirs yet. This is from Bailey Fender, Ted W. Walters and Associates, LLC. Has anyone else had any problems or know of anything going on with this survey, and how long does it usually take for the royalty checks to start coming in on a monthly basis?

It sounds like you signed a lease to allow this company to drill on your land; you did not mention that there is already production on the land. The royalty checks come from production amounts.

Some years ago, I signed a lease and the company never sent the check we had agreed on. Calls were never answered, so I had to go to the Better Business Bureau in Austin, Texas with my complaint and they were eventually able to collect the money from this company. Never heard from them again; they were not speculating on my land at all. Total scam!

Next time, send a copy of the lease first. Then you can either exchange a check for the lease or they can mail you a check then send them the original.

Mr. Bailey Fender has already sent our leases from the very beginning. Some of them have been taking longer to get to them from Bailey Fender as he has been taking his own sweet time in doing so. The first offer he was offering to me and the rest of us was so unfair and very low. Some of the younger members in our group have never had anything like this before and they thought they really had something there and they went ahead and signed and sent to a notary and had it notarized and sent back to Mr. Bailey Fender and then sat back and were waiting on their very small sign-on bonus check as Bailey kept giving poor excuses as to why they hadn’t received them in a timely manner like the lease stated they would.

We also received a lease offer from Bailey Fender with Ted W. Walters. We didn’t sign the lease. Has there been any activity on this property to date? We received an offer to purchase our interest yesterday. That usually means there is potential for drilling.

Have you had any offers from MLM/Mountain Laurel Minerals, LLC from Austin Texas? They are trying to purchase my Gobi Well #1. Then the next day I had another fellow calling me on my phone, from Silver Creek Fortune, wanting to make an offer on my Mississippi Well Unit. Something is fixing to happen down there, the place is crawling with all these Landsmen.

Mine are Royalty checks.

Hadn’t been on here in a while and am just now seeing this. So much has happened and going on right now. They keep selling to one company to another, keeps changing names, gets you all confused. My family owns a few of these that I’m getting from San Augustine County, Texas. I did sign my lease with Bailey a while back and getting my royalties regularly monthly. My brother-in-law didn’t sign his and he sure is complaining about not getting anything.
