Does anyone know if there’s currently any drilling activity in Block C-18 Reeves County?
My sister & I have some acres in Section 5, Block C-18. Our grandfather signed the lease in 1954, I found a copy of it. 
From all the reading I have done, Reeves County (Delaware Basin) area is definitely “Hot”/active!!!

I am in Section 4, Block C-18 and have not heard of any drilling, though BHP/Petrohawk has leases in the area including mine. There are pipelines for oil and gas in the works through Section 4.

We signed lease with KEW Drilling in 2011 and they said they sold the lease to Petrohawk. And now I understand BHP has acquired Petrohawk? So I believe BHP currently holds our lease, if I followed everything correctly. Our lease expires this June.
Well I believe it’s only a matter of time for activity in the Reeves County area.
I follow this Forum to stay informed!
I am in Dallas/Fort Worth area and plan to take a trip out there sometime just to check it out!

Red Willow Production has received drilling permits for Section 10 Block C18 and Section 17 Block C18. Both applications were processed within the last 6 months.

Yes! Wynekoop is my Mom’s maiden name and my Grandfather who originally signed the lease.
(Waldo Wynekoop). I have a copy of the lease he signed with my grandmother in 1954.

The horizontal well (API # 389-32722) in (A-1485) to the north of your A-3929 was originally drilled as a vertical well by Boyd and McWilliams. In Nov. 2013 Red Willow Production, LLC had acquired the well and recompleted it to a horizontal well. A completion report was filed when it was a vertical but no completion report has been filed by Red Willow.

Our 3 year lease just expired end of June, and BHP did not contact us to exercise the 2 year extension. I thought our Section 5/Blk C-18 was in their “Focus Area”? This means the lease comes back under our control right? Which is what I wanted.
