Two questions: Where does one look to watch for potential drilling, that is - what gets filed where? Like many others, we live far away from Grady County.
Second - any news in 7 and 7? We leased to Rebellion in a Section that has two old vertical wells, Edna and Lou Williams.
Betsy,
I moved this to the Grady County area. There is considerable discussion on activity in Grady County there.
Here is a link Grady County, OK - The Mineral Rights Forum
There are three locations that you can search for applications, and well information at the Oklahoma Corporation Commission site www.occeweb.com
There is a “case processing” database here:
http://www.occeweb.com/Orawebapps/OCCOraWebAppsone.html
Applications for almost all wells require some sort of action here before they can apply for a permit.
The “well browse database” at the above link has information on permits and completions. But you have to be aware of surface hole locations vs producing (or bottom hole) locations.
The documents for both of the above can be located here once you are armed with additional information.
Posting the Section Township and Range will help others locate results. I believe you are talking about Section 32-7N-7W.
There have not been any applications in your Section, but there have been within a couple of miles in different directions. Here is what recent applications look like in this area with Section 32-7N-7W highlighted.
Credit to Drillinginfo on the mapping.
Great help, thank you, thank you.
