Hello, new to forum and appreciate any input. I’m under lease in SE/4 of section 30, block 34, T5N and have started receiving offers for purchase. I thought this might be an indication drilling might eventually occur. I’ve had leases in the past, but never any drilling. Any input on activity in the area?

Assuming this in Dawson County Texas? If so, PBEX has a number of wells in the adjacent sections to the south of you. Riviera and Vegas Vickie units if memory serves.
What kind of offer are you getting ? We have been offered 5K per NMA . We rejected the offer…
Sorry, yes Dawson county TX and thanks for the replies. Offers are for $3600 and $4000 per NMA. Spoke with lessee who is a broker and they said they would offer more and downplayed activity in the area hoping I would sell. Are the Riviera and Vegas Vickie producing any good quantities or is there a way to look that up? Also since we’re adjacent to that section would drilling ever occur so close by? Thanks!
Am I interpreting this correctly that your lessee also offered to purchase your minerals? Who are you leased to? I had a family member sell about 5 miles to your west for just over $9k an acre.
I don’t see any production data on Vegas Vickie, but Riviera has produced 273,000 bbls since October 2025.
Remnant Resources out of Midland and I have 80 NMA. $9K per acre is a lot better, but I’m glad to hear there’s good production around me now which makes sense based on the conversation I had. What do the other numbers in my section represent? Are those permits, but no wells yet? Sorry for my lack of knowledge here. It also looks like Riviera has laterals running all the way up to my section if I’m reading this correctly.
