Hi, can I lease my MNA’s and if productive sell the lease, i.e get two bites out of that same cherry.

Yes, you can lease and then:

  1. sell the mineral rights immediately thereafter, even if they aren’t producing
  2. sell the royalty rights immediately thereafter
    • if the minerals are non-producing, you would solicit a “speculative” price based on EURR numbers
    • if the minerals are producing, you would likely solicit a price based on some sort of monthly/yearly income multiple
  3. sell part of the minerals and/or royalty, and keep some for yourself
