Coterra just emailed us back to tell us that 6 upcoming wells go through our interests.
But when I look at the acreage and well plats on OCD permitting website, for each of the APIs they listed, it looks like they DON’T go through our interests.
I’m really hoping they do, but if they don’t I want to know now.
If our interests are in:
EDDY COUNTY
Township 25 South / Range 28 East.
Section 11: SENE (H)
Section 12:SWNW, NWSW (E, L)
And the acreage listed on the OCD permitting website is listed as:
640
11-25S-28E Units: C D E F K L M N
14-25S-28E Units: C D E F K L M N
And the well plat shown in the well files is (the green square is unit H, where our interests are):
… could this well really go through our interests?
Are the files / info on OCD website sometimes incomplete? (I’m really hoping so!)
I have emailed Coterra about this, but they took over a month to respond to my last email.
