Do I still own any mineral acres?

Stonewall deed 1.pdf (192.9 KB) I attached a deed from my grandfather ( was a geologist) granting mineral interests he had in Stonewall Co. How do I know this was ALL or a partial sell of acres? Do I need the prior original deed to compare? Appreciate your help, Blake

Sometimes when you see these kinds of fractions in a deed, there is still a possibility that some interest could exist. The short answer to your question is that you need to do more research to find out. There’s a webinar on www.naro-us.org that can show you how to search.

It depends. I do not know who your family was, grantor or grantee nor do I know what future title looks like. To determine these things you need to run the title forward from that time.
