I’ve recently uncovered and begun receiving Division Orders from three TX O&G operators coming from an inherited undivided nonparticipating royalty interest from my great grandfather. There are more to come as ownership is found and claimed. At this point, I really don’t know what I’m doing, but realize I quickly need to set up some kind of a spreadsheet to track the Division Orders as they are received. Is there an established template to use rather than creating one myself as I blindly stumble along, not really knowing what it needs to track at this beginning point? Or perhaps one you’ve created for yourself and would be willing to share to get me started? Thank you for any information that will point me in the right direction as I struggle through inputting data into Excel.
