How soon after a well starts producing can a mineral owner expect to receive a division order?
Aleta, in OK 4-6mo. After 6 mo they have to pay you interest.
Our wells started producing at the end of September and we received our Division Orders in November.
We are with EOG Resources.
Thank you Michael! From what I've been able to research and find out the well produced in August. That's the latest report on production I can find. Do you know where to find out a month to month production report? Thanks!!

Thank you Sandra! We are with XTO and the well started production towards the end of July. Maybe in the next couple of months we will recieve the Division Orders. Thanks again!

We have a couple of wells with Antero Resources that started producing in August 2014 in West Va, and have not received a division order yet (it's 1-3-15).
That sounds like the same time frame I’m dealing with Greg.
Our well started producing in March 2014 & we didn't get a division order until October. Devon Energy. They have ignored repeated faxed requests for the interest owed, since we didn't receive a check until November.
That’s incredible Go Fast!! It makes one want to get a good oil and gas attorney to hold companies accountable!
Haha, Aleta, the O/G companies already bought all of the attorneys! Well, maybe not quite the way that sounds. A single attorney fighting an O/G company would run out of funds more quickly than the O/G company holding all of the money.

No production has been posted yet on the OCC or OTC websites, hopefully the actual production will be better than what is shown on the completion report.
