Hello, I recently inherited mineral rights from my father, and one of the first things I’ve done is to doublecheck the math on the Division Order I received upon transfer.
I think I may have uncovered a math error related to Riparian Acreage that was granted to him was not included in the Interest in Total Production Calculation. (It’s T157-N-R91W Section 31). My first step is to contact the operator about this calculation.
My question is does anyone know what might happen if they agree there was an error. Are they required to retroactively make the correction under ND State Law, or is this something that is only fixed on a go-forward basis?
