Does anybody happen to know how far back in time the records have been digitized?
@Laura_L, it may depend which site you use for your search. The site referenced from the county clerk webpage http://liveweb.leacounty-nm.org/, doesn’t really give scanned images, but you can do a digital grantor/grantee search back to 1966 or so. The handwritten indexes are scanned back to when the county was formed (1917), and I was able to find references to deeds from the 1940’s that I was looking for using the scanned indexes.
