Different values on lease payments

I have a small mineral rights lease in Coal County, Oklahoma. I recently did the calculation to check the interest percentage (decimal) and came up with 0.00031388 but my statements from the well operator say 0.00030336. I have emailed owner relations for an explanation and am waiting for a reply. For some strange reason on some entry on the statement they are only paying me 0.00001054 and 0.00001055. Any idea why the lower value?

For the first question, it’s likely a rounding error on an estate that’s been split up numerous times. If the well generates 10 million, you’re getting $3,138.80 vs $3,033.60. Hate to say it, but the odds of you getting this corrected are slim to none. As to the second question, it appears you own half of what you think you do or only half of your section’s interest was pooled for the well?

Bob thanks for that info but on the lower percentage (decimal) I think you missed a zero. The lower decimal is about 1/20 of the larger decimal not 1/2.
