Jan 31 2026 I posted the Devon/Coterra Merger. May 5th the merger became official. I was interested in this because of my acreages in Reeves and Ward County and was curious how this would affect my land potentially from an infrastructure stand point? Then yesterday Devon/Coterra buys 16300 acres of prime land in Lea and Eddy county for 2.6 billion! They are primed to begin pipeline infrastructure. What are the thoughts on this huge merger? How do you all think that the Delaware Basin specifically Ward,Reeves and Pecos County may be affected by this development? Devon is on the move! Definitely something to keep an eye on..
