I am doing research on family minerals in Oklahoma from generations back. I’m trying to map each legal description to get an overall picture of the locations. I get the township, range, section parts, but I am stumped on the deed that refers to Lot three and Lot two among all the other terms. It’s the first time I’ve seen this and not sure how to understand the meaning. thanks!

It may be a city lot or more likely an adjustment for the curvature of the earth. Sections 1-6 and 7,18,19,30 and 31 frequently have slightly more or less than 640 acres in OK as the surveying adjusts for the curvature.
