Deed Description vs. Legal Description

I have inherited three deeds with convoluted location descriptions. Two are in Cass Co. TX and one is in Marion Co. TX. How do I obtain a legal description of each?

The convoluted descriptions may be what is described as ‘metes and bounds’ and so are the correct legal description. Usually they contain lines in a direction going for X feet or rods, then a different direction for Y feet or rods. May go along a river bank or a canal or swale. These descriptions cannot be shortened to language such as northwest quarter of southeast quarter. If you post some of the language, you can get some advice.
